In partial modification of Notification No.D.26011/5/2016-2024 Dt.22.1.2024 and in pursuance of the minutes of the meeting held on 5th Dec, 2024 regarding authorization of various officers to compound traffic offences committee and imposition of penalty fines as prescribed under -

  6. subsection (1) or sub-section(3) or sub-section (4) of section 182A
  7. section 182B
  8. sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) of section 183
  9. section 184  only to the extent of use of handheld communication devices 
  10. section 186
  11. section 189
  12. sub-section (2) of section 190
  13. section 192
  14. section 192A
  15. section 194
  16. section 194A
  17. section 194B
  18. section 194C
  19. section 194D
  20. section 194E
  21. section 194F
  22. section 196
  23. section 198

of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, the competent authority hereby authorizes any police officer of the rank of Head Constable and above in uniform to compound traffic offences committed under the said Act and impose fines for amounts prescribed under MV Act, 1988 as mentioned above.
