In partial modification of this Department’s Office Order of even number dated 13.01.2026, and in exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 5(1) & (2) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and in the interest of public service, officers under the Transport Department as shown in the Annexure, are hereby designated as the Appellate Authority, State Public Information Officer (SPIO), and State Assistant Public Information Officer (SAPIO) for the purpose of providing provide information to persons seeking information under the Act and to receive applications for information or appeals under the said Act for forwarding the same forthwith to the SPIO or senior officer specified under sub-section (I) of Section 19 or the State Information Commission as the case may be with immediate effect and until further orders.
