HIGH SECURITY REGISTRATION PLATE IN MIZORAM
In order to curb the illegal sale/purchase and theft of vehicle in the country, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had in coordination with expert team developed a systematic and effective devices for identification of vehicle. This unique system of displaying/manufacture of vehicle registration no plate called High Security Registration Plate is made as per specification laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway in the Notification of Date 16th October 2001.
Considering all the requisit for providing HSRP in Mizoram, the Government of Mizoram had appointed M/S Shimnit Utsch India Pvt. Ltd for manufacturing and fitting of the said HSRP plate in all the vehicles of the State. Fitting of High Security Registration Plate for vehicle of Mizoram was launched on the 27th April 2012 by Pu H Darzika MCS, Secretary of Transport.
RATES OF HSRP
1. Providing and affixing of complete set of License plates for 2 wheeler - Rs. 669/- (for Scooter) & Rs. 668/- (for Motorcycle)
2. Providing and affixing of complete set of License plate for 3 wheelers - Rs. 940/-
3. Providing and affixing of complete set of License plate for Light Motor Vehicle, Medium and Commercial Vehicles, Trailer combination, Agriculture Tractor, power Tiller : Rs. 945/-
